This poster was created with the goal of encouraging participation in the pivotal 2020 presidential election, aiming to instill a sense of responsibility in making our voices heard. By collaging together newspaper clippings from the 20th century to contemporary times with historic symbols of our government’s democracy, I hoped to suggest that there are longstanding problems yet to be solved in American society, and highlight the broader implications of a political race in determining our future.
